KumbukumbuKE: Lessons learned from the Wagalla Massacre

Between February 10th and 14th 1984, thousands of men and women were tortured and raped on and around an airstrip in Wagalla, a small town in Northern Kenya

Two memorials have been organised in solidarity with the people of Wagalla to create an opportunity for citizens and the Government to make a stand against state and communal violence and terror.

We invite Kenyans and friends of Kenya to fast with us for four days between noon 10th and noon 14th February.

We invite citizens and leaders to two public screenings of ''SCARRED: The anatomy of a massacre'' a documentary film by Judy Kibinge which pieces together the events of those four days.
